Galvanneal (Satin Coat/Wipe Coat) is typically produced with a thin zinc
coating controlled by air knives as the strip emerges from the coating
bath.
The strip then enters a furnace where the heat converts the zinc coating
ton the zinc-iron alloy coating of galvanneal.
